Fota House & Garden Easter Egg
This April 3rd - 6th, join Fota House & Gardens for some Easter fun and explore our annual guided Easter Trail!
This self-guided tour around the Arboretum and Victorian Working Garden at Fota House includes live actors playing beloved characters from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory who will guide children through Easter egg hunts, fun activities, and puzzles. Don’t forget to keep an eye out for the Easter Bunny who will be spreading joy, and at the end of the trail each child will get a chocolate Easter egg!
Tickets are 10 euro per child and children under 2 and adults go free.

Easter Camp 2026 will take place from 8th–10th April, running daily from 9am–1pm.
Activities will include arts and crafts, the maze, the barrel train, feeding and petting the animals, and loads more fun throughout the farm.
The camp will be mostly outdoors, so please ensure children wear appropriate clothing and footwear for the weather.
Camp is suitable for children 5 years old and upwards.

Easter Science Camp at Old Cork Waterworks Experience
Date: 7th of April till the 8th 2026
Two-day camp from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Covers topics such as eggs, spring wildlife, water, and flight through hands-on experiments and educational activities.
Spring is the season of new life! Join us for a one-day educational camp this Easter where children will learn lots about baby animals and growing things through creative craft activities, outdoor games and play. Suitable for children ages from 6 to 10. Please bring a packed lunch and a stuffed animal friend.

Hop Along at Leahy's Open Farm
Date: 2026 March 28th to 12th April
Includes full farm access, an Easter egg hunt, trailer rides, and fun competitions like egg and spoon races. Hop aboard our Tractor Trailer Ride at Leahy’s Open Farm this Easter! Running daily throughout the Easter holidays from 28th March to 12th April, the tractor trailer will be operating from 12pm–3pm each day. Enjoy a fun-filled journey around the woods as part of your Easter adventure. Please check upon entry as times may differ slightly each day. Add-On Experience:

Easter Egg Challenge at Old Cork Waterworks Experience
Friday 18 April 2026 (Good Friday)
Activities include falconry, magic shows, and clue-based egg hunting.
Every child receives an egg upon completing the trail. Face painting, garden games, magic shows, ice cream and make and do are just some of the activities on offer on Friday April 3rd (Good Friday) at Old Cork Waterworks Experience during the Easter Egg Challenge to support Bishopstown Primary Schools. The Easter egg challenge will run from 10.00am - 4.00pm on Good Friday April 3rd tickets are available online at www.corkcity.ie/en/old-cork-waterworks-experience/ and participating schools, priced at €5 per child with adults free.
Easter Egg Hunts at The Farm Grenagh
Dates: Friday 3rd - Sunday 5th
Runs from Friday to Sunday. Help the Easter Bunny find the eggs he has lost around the farm. He has an Easter Egg for every child at the end. Enjoy some Farm fun along the way, see the animals, play on the playgrounds and take a spin on the Barrell ride.

Final Day of 'Hop Along' at Leahy's Open Farm
Date: Monday 21 April 2026 (Easter Monday)
End your Easter weekend with this family favourite attraction.
It includes entry to the farm, Easter Egg Hunt and trailer ride through the forest it’s a fun event for young and old. Over the 5 days (Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday) the Easter Bunny drops eggs continuously throughout the forest, so no matter what time you start your hunt there will be eggs everywhere…… On arrival every child will get a questionnaire and a map of the farm.
Everybody who completes the questionnaire will be entered into a draw for a FREE return trip to Leahy’s Open Farm. There will also be Egg & Spoon races for Mammy and Daddy. Online bookings are open for Hop Along….
